What is the IPC career guidance assessment?
It is a scientific psychometric assessment made up of a cognitive aptitude battery, a Career Quest interest profile (RIASEC) and a personality inventory. Your results are scored against country-specific validated norms and turned into a personalised, psychologist-reviewed career report.
Who is career guidance for?
Everyone making a career or study decision — junior secondary and O-Level students choosing subjects, A-Level students choosing a university degree, recent graduates preparing for the world of work, and working professionals planning their next move or a career change.
How much does the assessment cost?
The assessment is US$100. You can add a one-on-one consultation with a consultant for a combined price of US$150, or book a standalone consultation for US$50. Families receive a discounted rate for each additional person tested.
Is the assessment done online or in person?
You complete the assessments online, at your own pace, from anywhere in Zimbabwe or abroad. Timed sections include fair, built-in anti-cheating safeguards. Your follow-up consultation can be held online or at our Harare office.
What will I receive at the end?
A personalised, psychologist-reviewed report covering your aptitudes, interests and personality, with tailored guidance for your stage — subject choices, degree or course shortlists, or career-direction recommendations, depending on the package.
Can my whole family be assessed?
Yes. A family account lets you test more than one person and pay a discounted rate for each additional family member. Reports for children can be routed to the parent.
How do I get started?
Register for an account, choose the assessment package that matches your stage, and pay securely by mobile money or card. You can begin your assessments straight away and book your consultation once your report is ready.
